Requirements

In order to run 'MSDE Query' your computer must have the Microsoft dot NET Runtime Libraries installed. The Microsoft dot NET Runtime library is freely available from Microsoft and can be downloaded for free by clicking here.

Version 1.8 (December 2002)

MSDE Query is now fully compatible with MSDE 1.0 (SQL Server 7.0) and also MSDE 2000 (SQL Server 2000). Since compatibility now exists for the main two versions of SQL Server more people can benefit from the FREE MSDE Query tool.

The FREE MSDE Query tool now also includes a help screen that is presented should your connection to SQL Server fail. This help screen informs you how to get the correct SQL Server name.
